About The Cowboy Way

The Cowboy Way began in 1992 as a way for Cowboy to sell his "tall chairs."  These were chairs that he began manufacturing because they were "comfortable" and everyone wanted him to build one for them.  The Cowboy Way product line expanded to include all types of custom western furnishings and accessories, and our products were showcased at M.L. Leddy's Boot & Saddlery in Fort Worth and San Angelo, Texas.
Over the years, the "tall chairs" evolved into a more refined product, with the seats being constructed of cowhide and leather.  More people ordered them as barstools and show chairs rather than the outdoor "back porch" chair that they evolved from. This led to Cowboy's interest in other furniture, and eventually he began taking antiques to re-build internally and structurally and then creatively covered them in leather, hides, Belgium tapestries, and exotic skins.
Not everyone who wanted a wing back chair had an antique "waiting in the wings" so The Cowboy Way expanded to include new frames with a traditional design.  So, whether you have granddad's favorite old chair that needs new duds, or whether you want a new piece of furniture that just looks like a treasured antique, The Cowboy Way can handle your needs.
Quality and creativity are the driving forces behind The Cowboy Way.  We sell mostly via word of mouth or when customers see our products at the shows we attend.  Our work is custom, so there is no generic catalog.  This web site represents a mere sampling of The Cowboy Way creations and it will be updated regularly, so please check back often.  Bookmark us in your browser so you can easily find us again!

If you can dream it, we can build it!
